Dragon Boat Festival Holiday Notice

Due to the Dragon Boat Festival holiday in China, we will not be able to receive (or send) any shipments in Beijing on Wednesday June 12th. Therefore, please note two changes to the normal delivery schedule:
1. Cases we receive in Beijing on Saturday June 8th will be returned to you on Monday June 17th.
2. Incoming cases normally scheduled for delivery to us on Wednesday June 12th, we will receive on Thursday June 13th.
Please refer to our turnaround calendar for detailed return delivery dates.

Noble (Co,Cr) Alloy Announcement

Ivoclar will be discontinuing the alloy Callisto® CP+ as of June 1 and has replaced it with a new alloy named Callisto® CPG. This alloy, also a chrome-cobalt based Noble alloy, is almost identical in content and appearance to CP+. More detailed information about the new alloy can be found at this link: Callisto® CPG.

This month we will be transitioning to using Callisto® CPG for all Noble (Co,Cr) PFM and Full-Cast units, designated “Noble (Co,Cr)” on our lab scripts. There is no change regarding the prices of these two products.

May 1st Holiday Notice

Due to the upcoming Chinese May 1 holiday, we will not be able to receive or ship cases on May 1. The last day to ship from your location without incurring delay is April 24. You can resume shipping from your location without delay on May 1. The delivery schedule during this time is as follows:

Qingming Holiday Notice

Due to the Qingming holiday in China, we will not be able to receive (or send) any shipments in Beijing on Thursday April 4th. Therefore, incoming cases normally scheduled for delivery to us on that day, we will receive on Friday April 5th. Please refer to our turnaround calendar for return delivery dates.

New VIP Service

Megadent has added a new “VIP Service” option to our lab scripts. Cases with this distinction will only be assigned to a small, unvarying team of our more advanced technicians to achieve a more consistent level of quality. Please find our updated lab scripts attached. There will be a 50% surcharge added to all VIP cases.

VIP Service Promotion: Through February 1, 2013, we are offering customers a chance to try this new service free of charge. Please contact our office for more details.

2013 Medical Device Excise Tax

Pursuant to Section 4191 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, we will be applying a 2.3% excise tax to the sale price of all cases received in Beijing on or after January 1, 2013.

You will not be responsible for reporting to the IRS or other administration of this tax for any items manufactured for you by Megadent.

Chinese New Year 2013 Notice

Due to the Chinese New Year holiday, our Beijing facility will not be able to receive or ship cases on February 9th, 10th, and 11th. Furthermore, cases we receive in Beijing on February 7th, 8th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th will be delivered to you beyond our normal turnaround schedule. Therefore, cases shipped from your facility to Beijing from February 4th until February 14th, please plan for a delivery delay. The delivery schedule during this time is as follows:

Furthermore, cases we receive in Beijing on September 27th, September 28th, September 29th, and/or October 3rd will be delivered to you beyond our normal turnaround schedule.
